Privacy Policy
How Looni AI handles personal information that you give us through this website, by email or by phone.
Last updated: 8 October 2026
1. Who we are and what this policy covers
This policy is issued by Looni AI ("Looni AI", "we", "us"). It explains how we handle personal information when you visit this website, use the contact form, or contact us by email or phone. This includes people who write to us as AI teams, data owners, data collectors or domain experts.
It does not cover the datasets we license, receive or collect for AI training. Those are handled under the written agreements and notices that apply to each data owner, contributor or buyer.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you use the contact form, we receive the role you select, your name, work email address, organization and your message. If you email or call us, we receive your contact details and what you tell us. Please do not include sensitive personal information in a message.
Information collected automatically. This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. As with any website, our hosting provider and your browser exchange standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, pages requested and the time of the request. This information may be kept in server logs.
Booking a meeting. The "Book a meeting" button takes you to a scheduling page run by Calendly. If you book, Calendly collects your name, email address and the details you enter, and passes them to us. Calendly handles that information under its own privacy policy.
How the contact form works. When you submit the contact form, your details are sent to Web3Forms, a form service that forwards them to our email. Web3Forms handles that information under its own privacy policy.
3. How we use information
- To reply to your message and discuss the work or opportunity you ask about.
- To assess enquiries and, where you ask us to, prepare proposals or agreements.
- To keep records of our communications and business relationships.
- To keep the website and our systems secure, and to prevent misuse.
- To meet legal, regulatory and accounting obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising. We do not make decisions about you using automated processing.
4. Legal bases
Where the law requires a legal basis for using personal information, we rely on one or more of the following: our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries and running our business; steps taken at your request before entering into an agreement; your consent, where we ask for it; and compliance with legal obligations. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
5. Who we share information with
We share personal information only where needed, and only with:
- service providers that help us run the website and our business, such as hosting, email, form, scheduling and IT providers, who may use it only to provide their service to us;
- professional advisers, such as lawyers, accountants and auditors, under a duty of confidentiality;
- authorities or other parties where the law requires it, or to protect rights, safety and security;
- a buyer or successor, if our business is reorganized or transferred, subject to this policy.
6. International transfers
We and our service providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Where the law requires it, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
7. How long we keep information
We keep enquiry messages for as long as we need to respond and to manage any resulting relationship. After that, we keep them only as long as needed for our records, for security, or to meet legal obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorized access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live and the law that applies, including the EU and UK GDPR and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may have the right to:
- ask for access to the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your information;
- ask us to restrict our use of it, or object to it;
- receive a copy of information you gave us in a portable format;
- withdraw consent where we rely on it;
- complain to your data protection authority.
To use any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we will reply within the time the law requires.
10. Children
This website is intended for businesses and professionals. It is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
11. Links to other sites
If this website links to other sites, those sites have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for how they handle personal information.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. We will post any updated version on this page.
